  3. You need 1 1/2 cup black rice
  4. You need 3 cup beef broth

  6. Prepare 1 lb lean ground beef
  7. Use 6 oz diced ham, precooked
  8. Provide 1 cup black beans, I will also attach my recipe for them but you can use rinsed and drained canned beans
  9. Use 2/3 cup minced yellow onion
  10. Get 1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
  11. Get 3 minced cloves of garlic
  12. Provide 1 tbsp smoked spanish paprika
  13. Use 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  14. Take 1/2 tsp salt
  15. Get 3/4 tsp ground cumin
  16. Provide 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  17. Use 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  18. Take 3/4 tsp sriracha
  19. Get 1 sour cream to garnish
Instructions to make Truly Dirty Rice:
  1. Wash and rinse rice in cold water until the black color just about stops showing in rinsing.
  2. Drain well. In a sauce pan bring broth to a boil. Add rice. Reduce heat to low, cover. Cook up to 60 minutes until rice is tender. In the meantime you can prepare sofrito and make annato seed oil.
