The ingredients needed to cook Green bean soup:
- Prepare 1 lb green beans
- Prepare 20 small red potatoes
- Get 1 onion
- Prepare 1/2 packages bacon
- Take 1/2 cup milk
Instructions to make Green bean soup:
- used fresh green beans… clean… cut off ends… then snap in half. add to soup pan
- clean and put small potatoes inside soup pan..you can use big potatoes cubed also( use your desired potato)
- cut up your onion into small pieces… Toss in pan with the rest of ingredients. (onion not needed if onion is not liked) soup still great
- cut your pack of bacon in half… then cut into 3/4 to 1 inch slices…add to pan
- pour in your 1/2 cup milk(this item is not needed added for my liking)
- fill pan with water until about 1 inch over veggies
- add salt.. garlic powder and black pepper to your tasting
- bring to boil.. turn heat to medium and cook until potatoes are soft.
