Healthy eating is today much more popular than it used to be and rightfully so. The overall economy is impacted by the number of men and women who are dealing with health problems such as high blood pressure, which is directly linked to poor eating habits. Wherever you look, people are encouraging you to live a more healthy lifestyle but then again, you are also being encouraged to rely on convenience foods that can affect your health in a detrimental way. It is likely that a lot of people believe it will take a lot of effort to eat a healthy diet or that they have to make a large scale change to the way they live. In reality, though, merely making some minor changes can positively affect everyday eating habits.
These more nutritious food options can be applied to other foods such as your cooking oils. Olive oil contains monounsaturated fat which can help to fight bad cholesterol. Olive oil is also a good source of Vitamin E which has many benefits and is also good for your skin. If you choose organic foods, you can avoid the problem of eating crops that may have been sprayed with deadly pesticides. You can be certain that you’re getting the most nutritional benefits from your fresh produce if you can find a local supplier since you will be able to buy the fruit when it is the freshest and ripest.
All in all, it is easy to start making healthy eating a regular part of your daily lifestyle.
We hope you got benefit from reading it, now let’s go back to bulgogi style tri-tip recipe. To make bulgogi style tri-tip you only need 12 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you achieve that.
The ingredients needed to cook Bulgogi Style Tri-Tip:
- Take 3-4 pound tri-tip, cut into 2-inch wide strips
- You need For the marinade:
- Get 1 cup lite or low sodium soy sauce
- You need 1/2 cup sugar
- Get 3 Tablespoons brown sugar
- Get 3 Tablespoons water
- Get 2-3 Tablespoons minced garlic, to taste
- Prepare 2 green onions, chopped
- Take 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Get 1 Tablespoon distilled white vinegar or 1/4 cup apple sauce as a tenderizer
- You need 1 Tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- Get 1 Tablespoon neutral oil
Steps to make Bulgogi Style Tri-Tip:
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir or whisk until sugar is dissolved. Some soy sauces are saltier than others. If your marinade's too salty, try adding 1 teaspoonful of water at a time to dilute the saltiness to taste. Keep in mind as you're tasting, though, that the juices from the meat will also dilute the flavors.
- Let the meat marinate for at least 1 hour. 3 to 6 hours or so ideally. 90 minutes before you're going to grill it, take it out of the fridge to bring the meat up to room temp. Meat almost always cooks better at room temp. (I mean, unless it's a crazy hot or crazy cold day, of course…)
- Grill over a pre-heated medium grill for about 3 minutes per side for something medium rare-ish. (And on these really chunky strips, when I say side, I mean all four of them.)
- Let the meat rest for 7 to 10 minutes before slicing.
- Enjoy!
