The ingredients needed to make Chicken Nugget:
- Provide 500 gr chicken breast fillet
- You need 3 tbs shredded cheese
- Provide 1 tbs full plain yogurt
- Get 1 tbs dried basil
- You need 1 tsp chili powder
- Prepare season: salt and pepper
- Get 1 large egg
- You need water
- Get oil
- Take oats to coat (subt of bread crumbs)
Instructions to make Chicken Nugget:
- Boil water then cook the chicken for 15 to 20 minutes and drain the chicken
- Using food processor or blender to mince/mash the cooked chicken until nice and smooth crumbs of chicken
- On big bowl, mix egg, salt and pepper (a pinch each), chili powder, shredded cheese, dried basil, and yogurt then whisk all together or you can use blender
- Add the mash chicken to liquid mixture and stir well until all blend
- Taste it and if needed add more salt or pepper into it
- Make a ball from the nugget batter using spoon or ice cream scoop to make same size nugget
- Use your hands to make a perfect ball form then flat it into half cm thickness
- Coat evenly with oats or bread crumbs and repeat the process to the rest of the batch
- You can bake it or pan fry it (like i did) or just store it on container then freeze it for another time you want to eat nugget
- So yeah thats all. This is the original version of my recipe for chicken nugget but if you want to add more nutritious ingredients such as vegetables or beans thats good additional, especially for kids that doesn't like eat veg.
