  1. You need Beef n Gravy!
  2. Prepare 3 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
  3. You need 2 medium Yellow Onions, diced
  4. Prepare 2 lb beef stew meat, boneless
  5. You need 1 1/2 tsp salt
  6. Take 1 tsp ground black pepper
  7. You need 2 cup water
  8. Provide 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
  9. Use 1/4 cup +1 tbsp. Soy Sauce
  10. Get 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  11. Use 1 tsp onion powder
  12. Use 1 tsp smoked paprika
  13. Provide 1 cup warm water
  14. Prepare 1 1/2 packages brown gravy mix
  15. Provide Mashed Potatoes!
  16. Prepare 7 medium potatoes, peeled & quartered
  17. Get 1/2 tbsp salt
  18. Get 1 cup milk
  19. Provide 1/2 cup butter
  20. Provide 1/4 cup sour cream
  21. Take 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
  22. Take 1 ground black pepper
Steps to make Beef & Mash Smash:
  1. In a large skillet or dutch oven add vegetable oil and onion.
  2. On medium-high heat saute onion
  3. Add the beef tips and sprikle with salt and pepper
  4. Stir in and brown the meat on all sides
  5. Add 2 cups of water, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  6. Bring to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat and simmer for 90 minute's, stirring occasionally.
  8. At the 60 minute mark place your peeled and diced potatoes with salt in a pot and cover with water over 1 inch of potatoes.
  9. Bring to a boil
  10. Reduce to medium heat and cook covered for 15 to 20 minutes or until you can easily peirce with a fork.
  11. Drain the water and smash the potatoes
  12. Add the milk, butter, sour cream, garlic powder and pepper to potatoes and mix until desired consistency.
  13. Once time is up on the beef tips mix the remaining cup of water and gravy and add to the beef tips.
  14. Bring to a boil and cook this until the liquid reaches a medium-thick consistency (like Gravy)
  15. Plate the potatoes and top with beef tips and serve with desired garnishes. Enjoy!
