The ingredients needed to cook Sweet potato halwa:
  1. Use 1 cup boiled and mashed sweet potato
  2. Prepare 1/4 cup samolina
  3. Use as needed sugar
  4. Provide 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  5. Take as needed ghee
  6. Use 8 cashews
  7. Use 8 golden raisins
  8. Use 2 cups water

  1. Heat 1 tbsp of ghee. Add the semolina and roast on medium-low heat till semolina is toasted, but not browned.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a deep pan. Fry the cashews and raisins till golden and plump. Remove and keep aside.
  3. In the same pan heat up 2 tbsp ghee and add the mashed sweet potatoes. Fry it on medium heat till fragrant, stir frequently.
  4. Meanwhile, keep water for boiling in another vessel.
