  1. Wash the shakarqand throughly. Boil them in water.when tender, takes out from water & peel skin.
  2. After perling the skin, mash shakarqand with masher or with hands.
  3. Add ghee in a pan.add illachi.add mashed shakarqand & saute on medium heat till water dries out.raw smell goes off & colour also changed.
  4. Add milk in pan & let it cook over medium flame till it is absorbed in shakarqand.add sugar in pan and cook.
  5. When the sugar is melte in halwa and the whole mixture leaves sides of pan & come together, add cardamom powder and freshly grated nutmeg.a rich aroma arises.
  6. Serve Shakarqand halwa in bowl.garnish with chop almonds & pistachio. Serve either hot or cold. Enjoy with Cookpad.
