- Provide 1 lb breakfast sausage
- Provide 3 tbsp butter
- Use 3 tbsp flour
- Get 2 cups milk

- Melt the butter in a small pot over medium heat and add the flour. Cook the roux until slightly tan and it starts smell nutty.
