The ingredients needed to make Soya manchurian:
  1. Provide 100 gm Soya chunks
  2. Take 1 tbsp all-purpose flour(maida)
  3. Take 2 tbsp corn flour
  4. Take 2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  5. You need as required Veggies(1 medium sized onion, 1 medium sized capsicum,2-3 green chillies,1 big tomato)
  6. Provide As needed Spices(salt,1 tsp black pepper,1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder)
  7. You need As required Sauces soya sauce,vinegar, ketchup,red/green chili sauce(optional)1 tsp each
  8. Provide as needed Oil for frying
Steps to make Soya manchurian:
  1. Soak the soya chunks in hot water for 5 minutes.
  2. Squeeze all the soya chunks and keep it in a bowl.
  3. In that bowl add maida,1.5 tbsp corn flour,salt,1 tsp ginger garlic paste and 1/2 tsp black pepper and 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder.
  4. Mix well so that the soya chunks get well coated.
  5. Keep this marination aside for 5 mins.
  6. Meanwhile chop all the veggies.
  7. Now deep fry the marinated soya chunks till they turn golden brown.
  8. Take a pan.On a high flame heat a tsp of oil.
  9. Now add chopped onion,capsicum and green chillies.
  10. After 2 mins add remaining ginger garlic paste.
  11. Now add tomatoes a pinch of salt,1/2 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder and cook for 2 mins.
  12. Now add all the sauces and vinegar. Stir well.
  13. Now take a bowl and make slurry by mixing 0.5 tbsp cornflour with some water and pour this slurry in the pan.
  14. Cook for 2 mins and add fried soya chunks and give it a mix.
  15. Cook for another minute.Switch off the flame.
  16. Soya manchurian is ready to be served. Sprinkle some coriander leaves or spring onion.(optional)
  17. Serve hot and enjoy!
