The ingredients needed to prepare Flatbread:
  1. Take 300 g all purpose flour
  2. Provide 150 g water
  3. Take 1 pinch salt
  4. Get Olive oil
  5. Prepare (optional) minced garlic
  6. Use (optional) any minced herbs, e.g. parsley
Instructions to make Flatbread:
  1. Mix the flour with the water and the salt (and optionally the minced garlic and herbs) for a few minutes until it turns into a nice dough.
  2. Let the dough rest for about 15-30 minutes
  3. Divide the dough into 4-8 pieces (these will be rolled out to your flatbreads, so divide depending on the size of flatbread you want)
  4. Roll the pieces flat into a flatbread shape
  5. Heat a pan on medium high heat. Add some olive oil in the pan or on the bread and cook the bread on one side for about a 1-2 minutes. It might create some bubbles, don't poke them! These will get beautiful golden brown when you flip the bread
  6. When its cooking I like to add some olive oil on the bread, so when you flip it, the other side will get a nice golden color
  7. Flip the bread and cook the other side
  8. Optionally add some olive oil on the finished bread and enjoy!
