  2. You need 1-1/2 cup Little sour curd
  3. You need 1 cup Milk (cold)
  4. Take to taste Salt

  6. Get 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  7. Provide 1 Capsicum finely chopped
  8. Get 1 Onion finely chopped
  9. Provide 1/2 cup Carrots grated
  10. Prepare 1 /4 cup Water or as needed
  11. Take as needed Mustard seeds
  12. Provide as needed White sesame seeds
  13. You need 1-1/2 tsp Baking soda

Instructions to make Instant suji handvo/veg suji pancake:
  1. In a bowl mix suji, salt, red chilli powder and turmeric powder. Add curd and milk and water. Mix it to a smooth thick batter with no lumps. If needed only then add water.
  2. Add carrots, capsicum and onion. Mix well. Keep aside for 30 min.
  3. Now before cooking handvo add baking soda. Mix well. Heat heavy bottom kardai or pan. Slow the flame. Add 2 tbsp oil, few mustard seeds and few sesame seeds. Let it splatter for a min.
  4. Pour a ladlefull of batter in the kardai. Cover it with a lid and let it cook on slow flame for few min. (It will puff up like a cake.) After 3-4 mins remove the lid. Top of the handvo had dried up and the base will turn crispy golden brown. Turn it upside down.
  5. Again cover and cook on slow for 2-3 min. Remove the lid and cook on high for 2 min. This side will also turn crispy golden.
  6. Make all the handvo like this. First put oil, then mustard seeds and sesame seeds. Then batter.
  7. Transfer it to a serving plate and serve with ketchup or chutney.
  8. Tips :
  9. Add baking soda before cooking.
  10. I added only 1/4 cup water.
