The ingredients needed to make Shrimp-n-Sausage:
- Get 1 1/2 lb shrimp, raw,deveined and shell removed
- You need 1 stick Eckridge Sausage sliced (or whatever you prefer)
- Use 1/2 head onion, sliced
- Provide 1 tomato, sliced
- Use salt, onion powder, garlic powder and cayanne pepper or any kind of seasoning you like
- Use 2 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin (or whatever kind of oil you use)
Instructions to make Shrimp-n-Sausage:
- Set stove to med-high. Cook sausage, I like it alittle burnt. No need for oil it makes its own. Once it is cooked to your desire.
- Lower heat and add all veggies and cover til softened, the tomato will keep sausage from burning.When done transfer to plate.
- Add olive oil to pan just enough to coat the pan. Again place heat on med-high. Place shrimp into pan and sprinkle seasonings to your desire. Shrimp is done when its is a light pinkish color or white, it takes about a min or two to cook don't forget to flip them over and repeat time of cooking.
- Combine with the sausage and enjoy! I usually add other veggies with my sausage but I only used what I had in stock, like bell peppers and carrots and jalepeno juice or whatever else comes to mind.
